April 12, 2022. Psalms 44: 13-26 (15-18)

“I live in disgrace all day long, and my face is covered with shame at the taunts of those who reproach and revile me, because of the enemy, who is bent on revenge.

All this came upon us, though we had not forgotten you; we had not been false to your covenant. Our hearts had not turned back; our feet had not strayed from your path.”
Psalms 44:15-18

Hardship, disgrace and shame are not necessarily a sign of failure on the part of us.

As the Psalmist said, “All this came down on us, and we’ve done nothing to deserve it. We never betrayed your Covenant: our hearts were never false, our feet never left your path’ (vv.17–18, MSG).

So be encouraged and be strong as you continue to serve your family, church and community.
