We have completed 8-9 weeks of Camp operations. Thanks to God, all staff and volunteers, prayer warriors, parents, campers, donators, Friends of Shining Stars, WMBC, CSC, CSJ Grant, and encouragers. We were able to connect with140 children/ youth and their parents/guardians, throughout the summer.

Keep the leaders in your prayer: Aaron Lau, Esther Chow, Justin Feng, Franky He Zheng, Saya Karthikeyan, Geoffrey Mah, Nia Rebullo, Nicolas Wu, Jasmine Wong, Scarlet Su, as they return to continue their educational pursuits with transformed lives and God’s wisdom.

Encouragement

• Romans 12: 16-18 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.  If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

• Philippians 2:14-16 Do everything without grumbling or arguing,¹⁵ so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky ¹⁶ as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
• Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
• Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
• Colossians 3:12-15. “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful.”

 Dear Lord, illuminate us, our families, schools, workplaces, in our nation and among the nations of the earth with hope, joy, peace, unending love and inspiration. Let our leaders work together with wisdom across alleged or observed dividing lines to achieve peaceful and equitable outcomes. Enable the countries at war to find peaceful ways to communicate with each other. Let our leaders across this country and beyond discern and embrace meaningful dialogues that promote peace in all areas.
