MISSION: “Making God known by sharing the Love of Christ.”
VISION: “Transformation”- Romans 12:2
Order of Service: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Opening Prayer/Worship: Worship Team |
Scripture Reading: Malachi 2:10-16
10 Do we not all have one Father[a]? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our ancestors by being unfaithful to one another? 11 Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves by marrying women who worship a foreign god. 12 As for the man who does this, whoever he may be, may the Lord remove him from the tents of Jacob[b]—even though he brings an offering to the Lord Almighty. 13 Another thing you do: You flood the Lord’s altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer looks with favor on your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands. 14 You ask, “Why?” It is because the Lord is the witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant. 15 Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring.[c] So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth. 16 “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,”[d] says the Lord Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful. |

Update for Mission Fest Vancouver 2025
Excerpt from Team: Jesus has been speaking! Amid our waiting, though, we can still say—with joy and excitement—that MFV 2025 is happening! Jesus has been speaking clearly and has been leading us to the theme He wants for the conference.
The theme for Mission Fest Vancouver 2025 is “I WILL”.
Through the summer, I (James) have heard that Jesus wants to focus our hearts on all the areas of life in which He wondrously and unwaveringly declares, “I will.”
a few examples:
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 16:18 “I will build my church.”
Matthew 4:19 “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
John 14:3 “I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
Venue still to be finalized.

Dear Lord, grant us fortitude /courage and perseverance to be your children of light especially in areas where darkness appears to suffocate your light. Let the power of your resurrection engulf our hearts, bodies, and souls to intentionally live lives that reflect your truth and unconditional love. Convict our hearts today and let us practice daily the truths that have been handed down to us.
Matthew 22:37-39: Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
James 1: 2-4: Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Let us pray for cessation of current wars and forgiveness to reign in all our hearts so that true peace can be experienced.
