Following Peter’s speech, on the day of Pentecost he was asked a question. Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

Shining Stars Camp Can-Do Summer Classes and Adventures 2024 will begin on July 2.
Dear Lord, grant us fortitude /courage to be your children of light especially in areas where darkness appears to suffocate your light. Let the power of your resurrection engulf our hearts, bodies, and souls to intentionally live lives that reflect your truth and unconditional love. Convict our hearts today and let us practice daily the truths that have been handed down to us.
Philippians 2:1-4 ” Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves.”

Let us pray for cessation of current wars and forgiveness to reign in all our hearts so that true peace can be experienced.
