Encouragement
- Philippians 4:6-7
- “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
- Isaiah 26:3: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you”.
- John 14:27: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
- Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
Dear Lord, grant us your peace so that we can be peacemakers and allow your light to shine through us. Let your peace illuminate our families, school, workplaces, in our nation and among the nations of the earth. Let our leaders choose peace instead of divisive discord. Enable the countries at war to find peaceful ways to communicate with each other. Let our leaders across this country and beyond discern and embrace meaningful dialogues that promote peace in all areas.
