February 25 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm PST

WARD  MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHRUCH

My House will be called A House of Prayer For all Nations”  Isaiah 56:7 ~ Mark 11:17

MISSION:  “Making God known by sharing the Love of Christ.”

VISION: “Transformation”- Romans 12:2

Order of Service: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Opening Prayer/Worship: Worship Team
Scripture Reading: Ephesians 4:22-32

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 “In your anger do not sin”[a]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you

Dear Lord, in this New Year, continue to grant us prayerful hearts, of humility, love, discernment, and compassion for all those whom you put in our paths. Let us not be swayed from the purpose you have for us, as declared by Jeremiah, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Colossians 3:15-“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18-“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

John 13:34-35 – A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another. –

Let us pray for cessation of current wars and forgiveness to reign in all our hearts so that true peace can be experienced.
