“Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.” John 7:24
How do you judge correctly? To judge correctly, the Judge has to listen from both sides unbiasedly, carefully, and patiently. The Crown attorney and the defender have to present their investigations. Witnesses have to be brought to court. It is a long process before the Judge jumps to a conclusion.
In other words, let us go for lunch, dinner and camping trips before we judge our fellow brothers or sisters. Listen to their heartbeat and feel their pain and struggles, then we can judge correctly.
Heavenly Father, help us spend time with our brothers and sisters before judging them. Help us care and pray for them, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
